monsoon in the desert

 

The thing about living in the desert is..it doesn’t rain very much. This year especially there has been no measurable rainfall yet. Well until now. This storm came out of nowhere and like desert storms do the rain announced itself with authority and poured onto the earth so dry it could not soak it up fast enough.

    • yea..more like a ..damp heat the temperature dropped about 30 degrees when the storm hit… my tires deflated from the change in pressure..temperature…whatever… oh cooler temp.. less pressure.. right.. had to wait til the next morning to go anywhere..,

      I like the color version too..,perhaps I should revisit it and see if I can do it different…

    • yeah but it was like 30 mins.. and it has been raining everyday cept today. thus monsoon season but that was the first that broke the ground… you wouldn’t believe the flooding and the idiotic people..oh..did I say that ..oops
