    1. Isn;t that pretty? It reminds me of the Lilac bushes my mother had all around the house in Colorado that bloomed every Spring – I wish it smelled as good.. I’ll find out what it is.. these flowers are not all native desert ones obviously but I think the purple ones and the pink ones are…

      1. Really? Lilac bushes all around the house? How wonderful! We had lilacs in Washington too. Oh they were so beautiful especially because it was so special when they bloomed in the spring. I always thing of home when I smell them.

    1. thanks – most of it not the native foilage but I had a little time and haven;t messed around with my camera on my phone too much since I got the new one… the colors really are vibrant aren;t they – amazing how they just popped ..

    1. thanks – ya know I kinda feel like a dope cause at first I just walked right by them.. and usually I am drawn to the colors and the smells and the plain beauty.. but once I pulled my head out… 🙂 I couldn’t stop taking pics.. and my favorites are the ..umm well all of them 🙂 It made my day and the rest of it was grand! Spring flowers are so temperamental too.. some years it gets hot too fast and they just aren’t that nice.. it’s been mild so far..an actual Spring…

      1. Same here. There are some blooming, but I am waiting for my crepe myrtles to open all their color bombs. They are my fave. The pear trees here are snowing blossoms, as are the cherries.

If only these weeks could last for, say, all summer…

Just really ready for the color explosion. But I will be shooting it like crazy in two weeks when I am home. EVERYTHING there will be in bloom!
